Bodafon Farm Park
Bodafon Farm Park is one of many great places to visit in Llandudno.
It is super easy to find an has a bit of something for everyone. It can easily be seen and found from the east side of the famous Llandudno promenade.
You can loop around the farm park, choosing to feed the animals if you like. There are a few different species around the farm with our favourites being the Deer herd. Deer, Pigs, Goats and more. The duck pond is also a nice touch with its little house shelters. Bags of food can be picked up from the on site shop or in the restaurant. There is nothing kids love more than feeding the animals, the Goats will come charging over when they see it. We have even had luck feeding the Deer by hand though most are timid there are a few brave ones in the mix.
On site there is a great wooden play area to keep the kids entertained for a few hours. Shaped like a castle to fit in better among the others in North Wales. As well as tractor rides and even donkey rides in fairer weather. Various other bits of climbing and swinging apparatus on the park will keep them entertained for a while.
At the back of the farm park is the Owls trust which has a large assortment of…you guessed it owls and other birds of prey. In fact there are a lot of different species from all over the world to see. Little burrowing Owls to big Horned Owls and even a Snowy Owl too like from the Harry Potter films. If you are a little squeamish we suggest you avoid feeding time!
When you are a done exploring the various things Bodafon Farm Park has to see you can always grab something to eat. There are several stalls to by quick refreshments from but the main restaurant is the place to be. We enjoyed everything tried, the BBQ was huge and Pizza are cooked in a traditional outdoor oven. A healthy amount on the menu has been reared on the farm too.
We have been many times over the years, children were toddlers on our first visit and still enjoy calling in now as teenagers.
