Bodnant Gardens houses some of the most colourful and well kept gardens in North Wales, with a few hidden gems too.
The expansive Gardens have a collection of paths that meander through them and their magificant flower beds. Taking your time to explore these often reveals hiddens areas including the late 19th-century neo-Gothic mausoleum.
As you venture further you will arrive at some amazing pond with views over the Conwy vally, sunshine here helps to offer peace and serentiy. Heading into the valley is an adventure in itself but may be a struggle for some due to the inclines. This wooded valley is is also strewn with flowers of various and colourful types, the section near the old mill is esquisite.
Head up the valley following the gentle stream leads to more lush areas includinding several pools and a small weir. This gentle little waterfall is a joy to nehold , the entire stream is full of life during the summer months with lots of small fish to be seen. As you arrive towards the en of this section there is a pond with various ducks and waterfowl. Close by are picnic benches to rest on and take a well needed break and a bite to eat. There is also a little icecream place by the old mill if you fancy a treat or drink.
